My Yoga Story

I started yoga in 2009, drawn by curiosity after seeing women with yoga mats heading to a local studio. Joining them, I met Umaji, my mentor, and spent eight years learning under her. I not only learned various yoga poses but also embraced the yoga lifestyle and made great friends.

In 2018, during a tough time, I turned to yoga for comfort and decided to deepen my understanding by joining a teacher training program. By April 2018, I became a certified yoga teacher, feeling spiritually renewed. I began teaching yoga, starting with my neighbors, and soon, a community of learners formed around these classes, which I led until mid-2019.

After pausing due to my mother’s passing, I returned to teaching in January 2020 with more purpose. Now, I teach a couple in my neighborhood, enjoying our morning sessions together.
